Feedback from Spring Nepal 2010 Treks
Written by Various team members, May 2010
We have had some really excellent feedback from some of our Trekkers this Spring. Here are a few comments from those taking part in Everest Base Camp Treks:
All food served throughout the 20 days either by Lodges or by our Sherpas was of a consistently high standard.
Paul performed exceptionally well as a Trek Leader, instinctively guiding and advising. His experience was a valuable asset to a successful trip. The local Sherpas & guides should not be overlooked as their skills, without doubt, enhanced the experience for us all.
Jagged Globe answered my specific queries regarding acclimatisation and success rates. Upon scrutinising Jagged Globe and comparing other companies offering similar products, it was a clear and easy decision to select Jagged Globe by their offering of a far superior product.
The Everest Base Camp Trek far exceeded my expectations and the sheer beauty of the Himalayas took my breath away, literally.

" It was an extraordinary journey which I will always treasure. Jagged Globe did a great job of handling all of the details, the leadership was excellent, and I particularly enjoyed making new friendships with the group members. Lunch at base camp was a once in a life experience - appreciated the Jagged Globe climbing team's unfeigned hospitality, as well as Gavin's incredible meal."

Considering the area the food was excellent, Sherpas/Porters brilliant. Good variety, high carbs
Paul is a very sociable and laid back leader who coped brilliantly with all the groups problems and joined in with the team
Very enjoyable, group bonded well, trek leader knew waht he was doing and overcame all problems - felt safe

Loved the hotel in Kathmandu- wonderful to be somewhere where you relax and eat great food. Accomodation was naturally quite basic in some parts. It was a particular treat to stay in such a nice place in Pakding, the penultimate night of the trek:- it really lifted the spirits after a long day.
I didn't get sick from the food once: an apparent miracle, but I think largely down to the sherpas who made sure the food was well prepared. A big plus for me.
Paul was friendly, welcoming, and made sure the trek proceeded at a sensible pace. Lakpa and Raj were particularly good Sherpas.
A challenging but hugely enjoyable trek into the Himalaya. KF, Everest Base Camp Trek, Spring 2010
This trek was a success for me, and others in the group, due to the attention to detail for safety, hygeine and welfare of all concerned whilst allowing independence to relax or push ourselves a little bit further as desired by the individual.

"I would like to express my gratitude and thanks to yourself and everybody at Jagged Globe for going the extra yards in the way you all looked after us following our unscheduled extra eight days following the Icelandic dust cloud that enveloped most of Europe.
It was very comforting, especially for my family back in England, to now that you had our best interests at heart.
Even before the dust cloud I would have readily recommended Jagged Globe to any prospective trekker or climber, but since the way you treated us all whilst we were stranded I have to stopped short from shouting your virtues from the roof tops."
