I thought the two Dave's were absolutely brilliant instructors. I actually felt the course quite daunting when I got out there which I wasn't expecting. They gave me a great balance of enough guidance and freedom to allow myself to feel safe whilst still gaining skills. I thought they were very experienced and professional and I felt in really good hands. The course itself gave me an understanding of the basics of winter mountaineering and also allowed me find out my own level of comfort and abilities which in turn enables me to know what next steps I need to take in order to continue developing myself my winter skills.
