AH, Mount Ararat 2013

We ate very well indeed - especially liked still being able to eat Turkish food in the mountains. Gorkem is an outstanding leader. He has great organisational skills and handled some strong characters with patience, good sense and good humour. Thanks to him, we managed to climb an excellent extra hill in the Taurus and had a lovely, relaxing trip to an island on Lake Van on our last day. I would also like to thank Celil San for being a great guide on Ararat and for being such good company. We benefited greatly from having Turkish Trek personnel in terms of learning a lot more about Turkey. Finally to all the cooks - they were amazing. « | »
