Ama Dablam 6856m and the South West ridge. A big climb on a beautiful mountain. After Jagged Globe’s successful expedition in 2022 I wrote up an account that detailed the phases of the trip, illustrated with many photographs. You can find it here.


Jagged Globe’s Ama Dablam 2023 expedition saw more ascents, following a similar pattern of phases. This year’s report will again illustrate the steps we take, including ‘repeat altitude nights’ and an ‘active recovery’ phase, and I’ll share a few words on how we might measure success...
